“After a long wait, we finally have awarded the winners for Golden
Frame Short Movie Competition”, said by President of International Student
Connection Club.
Altogether, there were
eight participants from Oklahoma and Texas. Out of eight participants, three of
them were awarded the prize. The announcement was done on ESTEP Hall at University Center on February 8, 2019. ISCC president
thanked the sponsors for the competition. The sponsors were local banks
and business of Ada including some East Central University departments i.e. Ada
Magic T’s and Trophy (Amanda), Ada Aesthetics, Vision Bank, Citizen Bank,
Communication and Federal Credit Union, Arvest Bank,
ECU Chartwells, ECU Bookstore and some professors of East Central University.
First prize was $500
cash prize and trophy, which was awarded to Dang Productions. Their
video advocates about the homesickness of international students and
the bond of friendship.
Mr. Tilakram Gharti Magar and Bipin Nath Yogi
made the video, who is from Houston, Texas.
Third prize was awarded
to Mr. Matt Baber for Tulsa Actual Film. The movie was short and comedy, where
it shows “robbery went wrong”
